Love

I am so deeply in love, suddenly, that my heart is near bursting! Have you ever felt such an overwhelming feeling? My love is for My Lord, who blessed and guided me to the man I found and ultimately married. My love for God I have spoken about openly.

I love my husband as my soulmate, best friend, my co-conspirator in fun, silly pranks we play on each other. He makes me laugh, dries my tears, and explains things I don’t understand. I try to return the favor.

As I have said previously, I am disabled with Ménière’s Disease. It is an autoimmune disease that affects the inner ear and your balance, among many other things. Last Sunday was a desperately difficult day with my Ménière’s. I woke up to all of my body’s balance being gone and also had terrible vertigo. I couldn’t get out of bed by myself, let alone walk, even with my walker. Jerry had to either assist me in walking or do everything for me. It’s quite a humbling experience. If not for Jerry and his compassion and loving patience, I’m not sure where I would be.

I still have not totally recovered from Sunday’s attack, but I’m working on it. I tried to get up just now, took a step to my walker and fell.

I have an idea how trying it must be to be a caretaker for me because we were caretakers for his Mom before she passed on December 9, 2019. She lived with us for three months of her life. It is a strenuous job both physically and emotionally. Caretakers like Jerry are angels from God.

Love is given freely, never required; even more reason I feel blessed. Blessings to you all, until tomorrow!
