Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord. (Psalm 150:6)
Praise is a powerful form of worship. God should be praised for who He is—His character. He should also be praised for what He does. The great news is that we can praise Him anywhere and anytime! We don’t have to be in a church setting. Praise is an attitude of the heart—so it knows no boundaries!
We are called to praise Him with all we are and all we have. It might be easier to praise God; it’s easier to praise God when times are good. I think we can all agree on that. However, God is worthy of our praise at all times. This doesn’t mean that we feign elation when we experience difficulties. We praise and are thankful to God because He is always with us. He is always with us and will never leave us nor forsake us! We can praise Him for giving us the strength and grace to endure. His mercy is new every morning! His faithfulness endures forever. We can praise Him for His peace and presence. When we focus on Him in good and bad times, our lives will be filled with praise. Praise the Lord, Oh my soul, and may the Lord bless us over all of the earth!
