Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
(Psalm 119:105 NIV)
Like a hike through the woods, there are many paths our lives can take. On life’s trail, we can choose to explore independently and take an unmarked path; be adventurous. Or we can choose to follow a path that has already been marked by Jesus Christ, the trailblazer. He has gone before us to show us the way. He left signposts so that we wouldn’t lose our way and get lost. We are responsible for taking note of these signposts. The Bible lights our path. Circumstances of our lives nudge us in the right direction. For me, personally, the nudge is the Holy Spirit, whom I call Sarayu. Never has Sarayu steered me wrong. She is a most trusted friend.
Maybe you are at a crossroads. Ask the Lord which path to take. Watch for the signposts He has posted for you. You may have gotten off track and lost your way; cry out to Him. The Lord knows exactly where you are! You are not lost to Him. He will come to you and lead you back to the right path.
