God Is Our Keeper

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

(Psalm 121:1-2 NIV)

Where do we go for help? If our tire goes flat while driving, we call roadside assistance. When we get sick, we make an appointment with the doctor. We call the plumber for a clogged drain. However, what happens when we find that our life has gone spinning out of control? Where do we go for help when it seems that our life is falling apart? Who is the expert in matters of life?

Why not cry out to the Author of Life? There is never a time when we are restricted from the loving care of Our Father. We never face our trials alone. He stands guard over our lives. This single thought came to mind when I wrote He stands guard: He eternally Protects us. That’s not to say we will not sin; we will. But with His eternal love and guidance, we will be able to recover our path to heaven.

God doesn’t need sleep as we do. God’s love is unconditional. Rest in His arms today, and know that you are well cared for by the Father. Blessings, all.
