Back on the 22nd of this month, I wrote a post on waiting. Here’s a quote from that post: “One of the biggest hindrances to unanswered prayer is unconfessed sin. It blocks the flow of God’s grace in our lives.”
As you may have noticed, I call the Holy Spirit, Sarayu. I’ve used the name Sarayu ever since I saw the movie, The Shack. As soon as I heard the name, it felt comfortable to my mind and on my lips, like finding a lost friend.
It makes no difference the name you use for the third person of the Triune, though you must use one. Remember, there are three persons in the Triune, God, the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son, and The Holy Spirit. If you don’t call on one of them, you are not worshipping or thanking them for what you have. You would thank your parents for what they’ve given you, correct? It’s no different. However, I’m getting off track, and I hate when that happens. 😊
Worship them, love them, speak to them as a father, brother, and friend. Do you have unanswered prayers? If so, check yourself and find any unconfessed sins of which you may need to rid yourself. Humble yourself, lay your few-found sins at His feet, and ask for forgiveness. Once the door is open, your prayers will be answered. You will feel refreshed, lighter, and, of course, loved.
That is not to say the answer will always be yes. God has three answers to prayer – yes, no, and not yet! Blessings, my friends!
