But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

There are times when each of us feels unlovable. We may look unkempt or have a bad attitude. Maybe we have sinned and are full of guilt. No matter what we feel, God’s love for us never changes. Remember how God proved His love to us? When we were alienated from God, He reached down and sent Jesus to die in our place. We can’t do anything to earn His love or take it away from us. His love for us never changes.
God has adopted us into His family through His Son Jesus. He has chosen us before the foundation of the world. He has redeemed us. He has forgiven us all of our sins—the past, the present, and the future. He has prepared a place for us and sealed us for the day of redemption. His love is unconditional.
So, if you are feeling unlovable, look to the outstretched arms of Jesus. Be reminded of his love for you.
