“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

After predicting His betrayal, Jesus comforted His disciples by describing heaven. Jesus assured them that one day they would all be together again. As believers, we have the assurance from Jesus Christ that we, too, will be in heaven with Him. Even now, He is preparing a place for us! Jesus is the only way we can gain access to this heavenly home.
This is His promise to us, and we can count on His truthfulness. Being in the Lord’s presence for all eternity is the ultimate. The very thought of Christ returning to take us should have a purifying effect on us today. What a future awaits us! Thank you, Jesus!
