Walking in My Valley Day 4

I have been a frequent visitor to my valley of late. Anytime I have a lot of trouble with my Meniere’s, Migraines, or Rheumatoid Arthritis I am usually in my valley. Some of what I call “My Valley Time” is spent in bed with my symptoms, but not all, because for the most part, I refuse to give in. I’m stubborn that way. Life only happens once, and I don’t want to miss it!

While in my valley, what I personally notice the most, isn’t being without God, because I believe He is always with me, on my right side. I notice that I have Brain Fog Overload and I can’t concentrate on anything! This means that I don’t hear God, as I normally do.

He is still with me, definitely. I just can’t hear Him for the brain fog. What’s brain fog? it’s like trying to tune in to your radio and all you can find is complete static on every station that’s really LOUD! And because I can’t *hear* Him, I *feel* utterly alone. Now, as I said, I KNOW I’m NOT ALONE. For me, it’s a matter of perception. It’s painful for me not to be able to hear or talk to God. It’s a daily part of my life.

So you see, my valley may have more than sand, giant hills, and tumbleweeds, but it’s a terrible place when I’m not able to hear my Lord.

Blessings to you all.
