Relationship with God

I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end, He will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed yet in my flesh, I will see God.

(Job 19:25-26)

When Job spoke these words, his body was covered in boils. Job was enduring the deterioration of his health, as is my health going down. However, Job had also lost all of his possessions and was grieving over the loss of his children. He had always walked upright before God, and all of these evils had overcome him. How disheartening that was for him and would also be for us! Can you even imagine?

Still, even while Job suffered pain and was close to death, his faith in God didn’t waver. By focusing on his Redeemer and the eternal life he knew was ahead of him. Job refused to allow anything to rob him of his relationship with God. No matter what is happening in your life, I encourage you to be like Job and let nothing rob you of your relationship with God. May God’s blessings rain upon you, my friends.
