As a Christian, I consider our flock those who don’t know God with whom I come into contact. My task is to live a life that inspires people, those who know Him and those who do not. I do this with love and care. I do it quietly by showing devotion and gratitude to Him, not by waving a flag that says, “Look at me, I’m a Christian.”
People notice how you live your life, make no mistake. You don’t need to march, holding a sign to get the point across. Living in quiet humility makes an impression upon those who see it.
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve. 1 Peter 5:2
