A Mustard Seed

Have you ever seen a mustard seed? It’s the tiniest seed I’ve ever seen! The mustard seed is used as a spice. Grinding and mixing the seeds with water, vinegar, or other liquids creates the yellow condiment known as prepared mustard. Mustard bushes can grow from six to twenty feet, with many stems, and are filled with seeds.

I was thinking about faith earlier. Now, I will be the first to say I could have a stronger faith than I have. I am a work-in-progress, always working to strengthen my faith. When I read a verse in Mathew earlier, I felt renewed by it, so I would like to share it with you.

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”             Matthew 17:20
