Enjoy Life!

“Some people spend so much time worrying about what might happen that they never enjoy what is happening [now].”          Billy Graham

Today’s world is full of worry, yes, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic. 2020 has been a rough year with all of the attached restrictions to Covid. Changes happen daily. It’s tough on us all. I saw the above quote, and it made me think. We can’t change anything that’s happening now. In my view, it would be silly of me to try. It’s out of my hands. I have no control.

However, I do have control over my worry. Worry doesn’t control me. I’ve decided to do what I can to maintain the control that I DO have. How? By staying in touch with my family and friends in phone conversations, via text, Zoom, or whatever medium works best for me. By keeping better tabs on those who are dear to me.

You’ve heard the saying, “Live, Love, Laugh.” That’s what I feel we must concentrate on doing. Live as if it’s our last day, love completely and wholeheartedly, and laugh, laugh, laugh!

Laughter releases endorphins. Endorphins relieve stress! Smile, laugh, be silly! You’ll be less stressed, and a smile will grace your face, which I would venture to say hasn’t happened for many of us in a while. I know, at least, it hasn’t for me. Enjoy each day! Don’t miss creating a memory.
